Babs (or Barbara – whatever suits…) discovered WordPress in 2008 and has helped small business owners and organisations make the most of WP for their blogs and websites ever since.

Also known as The Blogmistress, she loves enabling people to work with WordPress themselves and to get blogging!

Within the WordCamp London 2018 team, Babs is Ana’s deputy and again lead organiser for the wonderful Volunteers.

Gary Jones is a UK-based WordPress Engineer, educator, code consultant, and proud father of twins. Driven by a passion for excellence, he creates elegant WordPress plugins and theme solutions for clients, and provides services, including code audits, for other designers and developers. He has worked on projects for SiteGround, Yoast, StudioPress, Web Savvy Marketing, Daniels Trading, Rolls-Royce and many smaller design and development agencies and individuals.

Gary is a key contributor to the Genesis Framework and has contributed to most major branches of WordPress Core since 3.3. He has contributed to many open source projects in the community, and is a co-host on the UK Genesis podcast.

A former teacher in schools and prisons, Gary’s goal is to educate WordPress professionals on how they can improve their code. His motto is knowledge is power.

Dan is a director at Blue 37 – a WordPress specialist agency.

You’ll find him organising WordCamps and Meetups throughout the UK. He thrives on business development and project management, as well as having a passion for seeing success within others.

Stef works at Automattic as a Happiness Engineer. She helps users who need support for products mainly on the wp.org area such as VaultPress, Akismet, Jetpack and Polldaddy.

WordPress evangelist, Stef is active in the International and Italian communities. When she’s not working online or lifting heavy weights, Stef either stalks dogs or ends up people on fiction.

Anthony Budd is a WordPress expert with 6 years of experience, 1 premium plugin and 5 open source projects built to give WordPress application-like functionality: WP_Model, WP_AJAX, WP_Route, WP_Mail and WP_Cron. He has 3 years of experience with Laravel building MVPs, Applications and APIs. He is a certified AWS Practitioner, with 3 years of experience working with AWS.

Anthony is a self-employed IT / Business Consultant and PHP developer. Currently available for hire.

Doug is a WordPress developer based in South London, who’s terrible at talking about himself in the 3rd person. He runs Smarter Digital, a small WordPress development company, Fuelled as a freelance technical marketer and blogs infrequently at WP Developers.

Tony Scott, a web designer and developer specialising in WordPress, based in West London UK.

I’m also the co-ordinator of WPUK (formerly WordCamp UK).

Rob has been building web applications since 1999 and I’ve helped improve many businesses by building custom applications that precisely fit their needs.

Many businesses struggle on with management software that just doesn’t fit their need, often struggling with huge spreadsheet lists that just aren’t fit for purpose.  Businesses recognise these problems but don’t know where to turn to solve them.

Luke is a developer at Forward, a technology company based in Camden. Over the last year, he’s been based at FactoryMedia, a company in Forward’s portfolio, building a platform to make the company’s 30 WordPress-powered websites maintainable and scalable, letting them ship a feature to all sites in a day rather than a month.
